•   The FVHCA just unveiled an online orientation that is common amongst the FVHCA healthcare facilities for students who will be placed into clinicals.  It will help eliminate duplicative efforts and maximize the amount of time actually spent in the clinical setting.

•   The FVHCA has conducted 2 comprehensive surveys that identified the healthcare workforce needs specific to our region. Visit our Surveys page to view the results.
   
•   A Clinical Placement Summit was hosted by the FVHCA in an effort to brainstorm solutions to the current system of student clinical placements.
   
•   Common job shadow forms were created for high school/8 hour (or less) and clinical job shadows with 3 major health care facilities.

•   FVHCA membership sponsors an annual summer Health Careers Camp for area high school students.
