Student Record Reviews

Health Care Facility members are required to meet certain regulatory standards. Student record reviews help ensure health care, criminal background check information, and orientation requirements are being met.
Members of FVHCA will randomly review at least 10 student records per school/per program each year.
If a school has not met the standards set for students utilizing healthcare facilities:
• The school will be notified and a follow up review conducted.
• Schools that continue to be noncompliant in meeting standards after follow-up will be notified, and health care facilities may decide to discontinue affiliations with that school. This may mean no longer allowing those students to have experiences at their facilities.
