Marian University School of Nursing
With a reputation for academic excellence, Marian University has been
preparing nurses for the rigors and changing needs in the nursing field for
over 40 years. Marian offers the following nursing degrees:
RN-MSN (optional BSN exit)

The RN-MSN program is for registered nurses who do not hold a bachelor’s degree in nursing.
Master of Science in Nursing

Specialties offered include Adult Nurse Practitioner and Nurse Educator

Degree completion in 2 ½ years of full-time enrollment or the benefit of a creative calendar that affords a part-time course load at any point in time

Course delivery formats include online, in-class, or hybrid which combines classroom and online learning strategies.
Cohort or group starts for baccalaureate and graduate studies are
conveniently located in Fond du Lac, Appleton, Madison and West Allis.
In addition to the above degrees, Marian University School of Nursing offers
the following certificate programs for Registered Nurses who wish to pursue
life-long learning.
Sr. Mary Agreda Palliative Care Certificate Program

For Registered Nurses Working in Acute, Chronic, Home Care, or Clinic Settings

The focus of this program is to promote optimal care for the serious, chronic, and/or terminally-ill within the patient setting. The program examines the multidimensional effects of aggressive disease treatment, as well as the end-of-life journey.
Postgraduate Certificate in Nursing Education –Online
For Registered Nurses who already have an advanced degree in nursing and
wish to teach nursing, this program provides the knowledge and experience
necessary to teach in academic and non-academic settings. Course content
consists of foundations in education, curriculum planning, instructional
design, assessment, and evaluation. This online program includes a teaching
practicum arranged in the student’s locale.
A Nurse Educator certificate is earned when all courses are successfully
completed; enrollment in one or more courses is an option for the advance
practice nurse or nurse educator who desires a refresher.
University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh
UWOSH CON Graduate Program offers the following avenues to an advanced
nursing degree. Many online/hybrid courses allow students to continue
working.
Master's degrees:
Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL):--Improve quality, safety, and outcomes, while
coordinating care and maintaining a patient focus.
Nurse Educator: Expand your marketability by getting an advanced degree in
nursing.
Family Nurse Practitioner: Help meet the need for primary health care
providers while expanding your role with an opportunity for advancement to
the DNP.
Doctoral degrees:
